I have a better understanding of dog behavior compared to most photographers — I’ve specialized in photographing dogs and have worked with hundreds! This is essential when it comes to capturing natural and authentic photos.

I used to be a family photographer and know how to create flattering poses and how to edit pictures to make you look your very best, with glowing skin, bright eyes and more. 1. planning call
We’ll do a call to talk about your business and what you'd like to capture in your photos. You'll receive a branding questionnaire so I can learn more about what will work best.
2. session
We'll work from the shot list that we created during our planning call. Sessions are relaxed and fun. I'll provide suggestions to create natural, unposed looks that are flattering, as well as ways to make your product or service shine.
3. ordering
You’ll receive a proof gallery before your ordering session, so you can start thinking about your favorites. Then we’ll get together by Zoom. This makes the ordering process easy for you. You’ll receive your order quickly so you can start using your updated branding images.

what if i'm not sure what i want?
No problem — I'll have you complete a questionnaire that will help guide us. I'll also have ideas on what's worked well for other clients.
what should I wear?

Can harnesses or gentle leaders be edited out?
Editing software does have limitations. Bulky harnesses hide so much of the dog’s chest that it’s difficult to accurately rebuild those pixels during the editing process. If one of the dogs we use for the branding session typically wears a harness, it would be best to have a flat color available for the dog to wear during the branding session.
What if the session is outdoors and the weather isn't cooperating?
If the weather is less than ideal, we can definitely reschedule. We may even decide on the day of your session a few hours before. Your fee simply transfers over to our new session date.
do you have dog models?
Most of my clients use their own dogs or the dogs of their clients. No formal dog training is needed, although it can help if the dog(s) now basic commands. If you'd like me to bring a dog model or two, we can talk about the look you'd like and I'll check my database.

I've worked with hundreds of dogs over the years and know how to manage reactive ones, shy ones, highly energetic ones, senior ones with mobility challenges, and more. We'll use dogs you know, or we can use dogs in my dog model database for a small extra fee.
I'm confident we can get pictures that capture your brand and you beautifully. But if you don't love your proofs, you have your choice of doing another session or getting your session fee refunded.
